This is me on the balcono de Alcade.
We had a press-heavy reception at the town hall today. I was a bit embarrassed because I wasn't wearing any underwear (there is no laundromats here, we rely on our housekeepers, it costs a fortune - a slab of beer is cheaper - and it takes forever, its day six now and i'm stiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiil waiting, gonna kill someone soon)
Nevermind that, the doors were swung open to the Mayor's balcony - as tradition dictates - and we stood on the balcony as all the people in the plaza stopped, cheered and waved. I was pretty stoked, especially for Jorge - Salamanca is a small town and for him to stand on the balcony of the town hall is a great honour. All the staff at the school are really excited to have us around, they are only a small operation and all this media attention is giving them well deserved prestige.
